The stability and performance are top-notch, which attracts the long-distance runner to the Nike React Miler series.

Both the InfinityRN and Miler are running shoes. But they are made differently to serve distinct purposes.

Upper Structure

Nike React Infinity Run 4 uses lightweight Flyknit technology for the upper. The entire structure is built with a single piece.

There’s a big plastic heel clip at the back, although it’s way smaller than the previous model.

The upper is perforated on the vamp and midfoot area to maintain breathability.

InfinityRN 4 has five eyelets on each side. Four of them directly went through the upper, and the top one had a small plastic part for extra support.

The shoe has a pull tab at the back for efficient wear.

On the other hand, Nike React Miler 3 uses engineered mesh for the upper.

Nike claims the upper is very breathable. However, I haven’t found any perforations in my usage, and it feels very warm, especially in summer.

One of the most noticeable changes I’ve seen is at the tongue. Infinity Run 4 has a single loop on the tongue, whereas the Miler contains three lace loops.

Most Nike models cover the heel area with the brand logo. The same goes for the React Miler 3.

However, the React Infinity Run 4 accommodates a small Nike logo only at the lateral side of the midfoot area.

Nike React Infinity Run 4 uses the latest ReactX foam to cover the full-length midsole. It’s very soft and gives a cushiony feel at every step.

The outsole uses a durable rubber with a waffle pattern for a good grip. It has extended at the front to give support at the toe puff.

In contrast, the Nike React Miler 3 uses React foam throughout the midsole. It’s soft, but not like InfinityRN 4.

It gives bouncy feedback and a very good response in every stride.

The outsole is made out of durable rubber and provides excellent stability on contact.

Similarly to the Infinity Run 4, React Miler also has an extended toe puff at the front. It protects my feet from any kind of impact.

Size & Weight

Both Nike React Infinity Run 4 and React Miler 3 fit true to size.

However, in my usage, I have found the React Miler 3 runs a bit small. It seems very snug and doesn’t fit very well.

I had to size up and take the next model. It fits perfectly on my feet and has no issue with comfort.

So, before purchasing the Nike React Miler 3, I suggest checking how it fits in your feet.

The stack height is very tall in React Infinity Run 4 compared to Miler 3 because of the extra soft midsole.

The extra material and cushioning increase the weight of the InfinityRN 4, but the difference is very negligible in regular usage.

Fit & Comfort

Nike InfinityRN 4 offers a very snug and comfortable fit. The toe box has ample space, so I had no issue sliding my feet into it.

The upper is breathable and feels cozy in the summer season.

The midsole is very soft and bouncy. It feels very comfortable whenever I take a step with the InfinityRN4.

The heel collar has ample cushioning, giving outstanding support and keeping my feet in perfect place.

The midfoot area is slightly narrow. But as a regular foot person, I had no issue running with it.

However, if you have foot issues or fitting problems, the Nike store has a wider version of Infinity Run 4.

On the other hand, The Nike React Miler 3 has a narrower design.

So, the normal size feels tight and doesn’t fit very well on my feet. I had to size up to get a perfect fit.

The upper is thick and has no perforations to pass the air. It becomes very warm during the summer season. So, I can’t think about running in sunny weather with these shoes.

Nike React Miler 3 has reduced a lot of cushioning for better response.

The foam around the heel collar and forefoot isn’t sufficient to give a comfortable run for a long session.

However, the firm and responsive midsole is very efficient to give a good result on track.

I did tempos and quick runs using the React Miler 3, and the performance was amazing.

Stability & Support

Both shoes’ overall support and stability are different for serving distinct purposes.

The Nike React Infinity Run 4 has ample cushioning around the heel collar and forefoot, providing excellent running support.

The midsole is slightly curved to give an arch support.

It has a unique midsole structure, which gives the user additional stability. The sole is extended on the medial side and shrank at the lateral side.

The curved outsole gives a smooth roll from heel to toe through every stride to footstrike.

In contrast, the Nike React Miler 3 has a very balanced support.

When I walk or stand wearing a Miler, I don’t feel any excessive softness in my feet. For which I don’t roll to one side unnecessarily.

Though, the cushioning support around the heel and forefoot isn’t very significant.

During a long run, the material around the heel starts rubbing my ankle and making me uncomfortable.

The firm and curved sole structure is perfect for people with mid or high arches. But, if you have flat feet, it will give you a hard time running with the shoes.

Durability & Performance

The Nike React Infinity Run 4 is a very durable and long-lasting shoe. I’ve been using it for the last four months as my daily running shoes.

The comfort has remained the same from the very first day. The cushioning is still intact, and the upper has no scratches or worn outs.

The midsole is bouncy, and it’s getting better day by day. My feet have efficiently coped with the shoe and faced no issues.

So far, I’ve run more than 200 miles with Nike React Infinity Run 4, and the performance is superb.

On the other hand, the Nike React Miler 3 doesn’t fit very well for a long-running session. Instead, it’s short and quick running shoes.

I’ve run 20 miles wearing this shoe, but the performance wasn’t very satisfying.

Besides, I did a quick run on track and road for about 5 to 10 miles daily, and the response was utterly satisfying.

There’s no question about the durability of the Nike React Miler 3. After wearing it for over a year, the midsole, outsole, and upper are in perfect condition.

The pricing differs greatly between the React Infinity Run 4 and Miler 3.

There’s around a $40 price difference between the latest models of these two series, React Infinity Run 4 and Miler 3.
